JULY EVENTS AT TRINITY

TRINITY – A CHURCH FOR ALL.     YOU are welcome to join us for any or all of these events.

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE:   From JUNE 18 to September 3, there will only be ONE Worship Service on Sundays at 9:15 am.  We will alternate between Rite 1 and Rite ll Services in the Prayer Book.   See Page 9 of the July Newsletter for further details, which can be found by clicking on Publication on the right side of the front page, and then go to Newsletter, then Current Newsletter.                        WEDNESDAY:  6:30 pm

EDUCATION HOUR(for adults and children) – No classes during the summer.

     ADULT FORUM SCHEDULE:   No Forum during the summer.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDYNo Bible Study in July.

CHOIR PRACTICE:   NO Choir practice until late August.   Sunday Pick-up Choir on Sundays at 8:30 am

BELL CHOIR PRACTICE:  NO Bell Choir practice until September.

 

JULY SHOP & SHARE – We are collecting  PEANUT BUTTER & GRAPE JELLY for OASIS FOOD PANTRY

RANDOM BOOK CLUB will not meet for the months of June, July & August.

 

On SUNDAY JULY 2we will sing national hymns in honor of Independence Day, and after worship, we will enjoy homemade strawberry shortcake!

On SUNDAY JULY 16we will enjoy a potluck brunch, bring whatever you like for breakfast or lunch.  Our Minister of Music, John Hawn, will lead us in an exploration of the hymnal, Lift Every Voice and Sing (LEV). We will learn stories behind beloved hymns, and something about the history of gospel music.

On SUNDAY JULY 30 our Youth will read the Lessons and Usher, and our Rector will do a children’s sermon.

Trinity offers a HEALING SERVICEon the second Sunday of each month.  We invite you to come to the Altar to be anointed and to receive prayer.

 

LAUNDRY LOVE, GOD’S LOVE A new Outreach Program shared with Transfiguration Church, meets at STAR CREST LAUNDRY on Zumbehl Road on the first Tuesday of each month from 5-8 pm.  Quarters are provided to customers for detergent and dryer sheets to those who need it along with conversation and helpful advice.

 

R.O.M.E.O.  (Retired Old Men Eat Out) meets on the second Saturday each month at JJ’S Restaurant on Duchesne at 8:30 am.

Trinity Service Club (formerly Men’s Club) meets on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month at 8:30 am

Little Hills Toastmastersmeet on Tuesdays at 7:15 pm.

Twelve Step Programsare held at Trinity as follows:We-Care NATuesday at 8  pm;Nitty Gritty NA

Wednesday at 7:30 pm; Climbing Higher Alanon – Thursday 7 pm;  AA Group 228Friday at 10 am. 

 

Trinity LABYRINTH(behind the Church building) is always open for those who wish to take a meditative walk.  Information can be found in the letter box at the start of the Labyrinth.
